InCare is a Web-based application accessed from a computing device using an app called a "Browser."
InCare is supported by the current version of the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer (version 9 or higher) / Microsoft Edge
- Firefox (version 15 or later)
- Chrome
- Apple IOS - Safari
InCare also works on your browser onmost mobile devices. The following devices have not been fully tested, but are known to work with InCare
- Mobile Safari (including iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch)
- Chrome (Android devices)
There are also some known browser problems with InCare. We are always looking to extend our collection of supported browsers, but we recommend upgrading from any of the following to a supported browser
- Stock Android browsers - These browsers are usually preloaded with your phone or tablet, and are usually just named Browser. We recommend installing Chrome for your device instead. It is offered for free through the Google Play Store
- Kindle Fire (Silk) - The Kindle Fire's built in browser, Silk, is non-functional with InCare
We encourage you to always install the latest stable version of your browser in order to get the best possible experience with InCare
How to upgrade
Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer can be updated through Windows Update. Most times, no other install is required. You need to go into Windows settings and set your device to receive updates.
Microsoft Edge
Microsoft Edge is new in Windows 10 and automatically updates when Windows updates.
Firefox
By clicking Help > About Firefox, any updates that are available will download, and prompted to be installed. Otherwise, you can get the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org/firefox
Google Chrome
Google Chrome automatically updates, so you are always running the latest version.
Safari
Safari will update via OS X Software Update, or through software updates done on your iPhone or iPad. Apple will automatically notify you when an update is available.
